Note: This will delete all the printers listed and you will have to add them back in again. (when it is finished will show disk repair completed) On the Apple menu bar, click Go, applications, utilities, disk utility, click on Mac harddrive on the left side, click on verify disk permissions, when that is finished click repair disk permissions. I would verify and repair the disk permission on the Mac.

You can try downloading and installing this driver which might work with Maverick. There is no direct link for the drivers except that Apple Updates which are available.
